I found photos of the presentations likely taken during the 1971 Annual meeting, which was likely held in the Holiday Inn in Kitchener as this was the regular venue during those days. There are names and faces that will be familiar to some of us; Howard Palmer, Aylmer-Malihide (now Amtelecom), Harold Schmidt (likely while he was still the secretary-treasurer of the Baden company which would likely now be part of Kitchener), Francis Gimel who worked for the OTSC in an engineering capacity but lived in Ripley, I believe Russ Brown who was the manager for Community Telephone which was sold to Bell by the late 1970s, as well my father who is thanking one of the speakers. Note everyone is smoking during the meeting. I believe this was taken from a Canadian publication which lasted a few years called Telecommunications Engineering and Management.
